Guten Morgen! Time for more Autobahn kilometres. Without switching on the navigation, we drove on towards southern Germany. Our goal became Austria.
Since we only got there around dusk, thanks to our side quests through German villages in search of the Lidl, we decided that was enough for today. The Fernpass is a route you want to drive in daylight, after all. We parked the beast at a friendly campsite called Alpencamp Marienberg, at the foot of the Fernpass. Time for night 2.
